Musee.com is a search engine to allow consumers to find museum stores online. If your shop has a presence online and is not in our museum store database, please fill out an electronic form and email it to me. Highlighted listings and banners ads are also available to appropriate businesses.
Musee.com is a website to help museum store directors understand the potential of electronic commerce -- E-COMMERCE -- and to help them open, maintain and market their own webshops. We have accumulated many links going to related sites: other museum stores and relevant vendor e-commerce sites as well as articles explaining the growing business of online sales and marketing. Museum shop director, we are a support service to your current operation.
Musee.com is fully owned and maintained by Webb Design Inc., a Museum Store Association Exhibitor Affiliate since 1983. We are located in Taos, New Mexico, but have assisted museum stores in many areas of the country with product development: cards, posters, calendars, exhibition catalogues, mail order catalogues. Internet e-commerce is a natural extension of our print design services. We have been involved in developing and marketing websites since May 1995 when our travel and art site, TaosWebb.com, was inaugurated.
Webb Design's musee.com itself is not in the business of online buying and selling, and all purchases made in the webshops we have helped design and develop are between buyer and seller, with no sales commissions going to Webb Design. We take no responsibility for sales practices of our museum store clients nor museum store vendors' webshops. But we take full credit for the webshops' elegant designs and easy navigational systems.
